Smoothies are quick, easy
and full with your daily allowance of fruits and vegetables. Depending what ingredients you use, a smoothie may contain
all four food groups!
You can add nuts to any
smoothie, such as almonds, for the meat and alternative category, and seeds,
such as chia seeds, to fit the grain products category. By adding ingredients
like nuts and healthy grains, your smoothie will keep you full for a longer
time!
I never thought about adding almonds to my smoothies, good idea! I'll try it next time :)
